Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. Her early years were spent listening to classical music, old boleros and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is passionate about opera and tangos, and any dramatic performance. At the age 16, she began to sing and study the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense singing instruction. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. In her early career, she was spent performing with various chamber ensembles and opera choruses and chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Her love and passion for music, art, and performing keeps her involved with many local organizations as a teacher and performer. Ana has been a participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to impart a desire particularly among the younger generation to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
