Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since her teenage years the singer has been involved in popular music as well as flamenco. She also explores other genres like hip-hop soul and Trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player with a lot of talent, describes her voice saying that it was smooth with a classic bit. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial success. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and earned her an Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami collaborated on songwriting with many artists and producers such as Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on March 20th, 2022 in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was solo in her first solo performance Saturday Night Live. Motomami the album by Rosalia that earned her the three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female singer to have winning the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
